It appears The Originals’ star Joseph Morgan will fill some new supernatural/mutant shoes soon. News broke last night on Twitter after X-men producer Lauren Shuler Donner posted the first cast table read. Not only were fans surprised to see the possible title reveal (Gifted) but also Joseph Morgan seated by Jamie Chung (who will be playing Blink) in the picture.

Recent weeks most of the major roles had seemingly been filled but no official announcement yet on the last minute addition of Joseph to the cast. We still don’t have details on which character Joseph Morgan will play in the series, but we will update this article when we do. Congrats Joseph cannot wait to see how this goes.

As for The Originals fans that don’t want to see Klaus Mikaelson leave just yet. No worries, season 4 of The Originals premieres March 17th on The CW. However, no word of if The Originals will get a fifth season just yet. This news does not affect that but given how both come out it could.

Are you excited for Joseph Morgan’s new role in the X-men series? Sound off in the comments.

Hi...thank you for reading and checking out the site. My fascination with vampires and all things supernatural started at a young age. Reemerging with Anne Rice's "Interview with a Vampire" book and movie. I love TV maybe a little too much. Adore makeup and accessories. Sci-fi geek to my heart and I will never be ashamed to say I loved Star Wars before it was cool...still do. ~ Arcena P
